Die Roller ?

Technical Details

Does anyone know where I can pick up some code for a die roller? I'm specifically looking for one that will allow multiple rolls with various sided dice that will post the results for registered users on my site and that will allow a description to be added to the roll.

Currently we're using the die roller from Irony games, but I'd prefer one that would be more accessible.

My site is currently configured for PHP nuke I've looked for addons without success and have been looking for a programme. I don't mind parting with a little $ for a licence since the die rolling is crucial in our game.

Contact Ictus on this board or at his own site - http://www.rpgrm.com/ ... he has a very powerful Dice Roller including various polyhedrons and also things like d100 "open ended" for supporting games such as Rolemaster.

Alternately - contact Tim (Rasyr) at the Ironcrown forums - http://www.ironcrown.com/ICEFORUMS/index.php - for the code.

Check out out dice roller at http://www.rdinn.com. If you like it, I'd be happy to give you the code for the cost of a "thank you" and a link back.

It's written in pure php, is a tiny script, and supports pretty much any option that you like.

Thank you both for the links. I will endeavour to investigate them over the next week or so.

With regards to the dice roller at the Red Dragon Inn, does it record the rolls of registered users so that other players can see the results, or do you use an honesty system? I was able to find and install a roller, but the thing that I am lacking is the automatic recording of the results on the site for other players.

It uses an honesty system, but it would be quick and easy to add a component to track rolls. Drop me a direct email about this - osuddeth@gmail.com - I'd be willing to help you out.

I too could use a dice roller on my site, but I need one that either prints the rolls on the page or posts them automatically on the forum. Unfortunately I do not have access to the bbcode on the website just the portal page.

Any suggestions?

There are dice-roller codes & programs available, but these are based on specific types of boards. What works on Drupal, for example, isn't likely to work on PHPBB. Without access it is moot anyway, as you won't be able to add the necessary bits.

I know this thread is a little old, but does anyone have the source code for something like http://www.white-wolf.com/DiceRollers/wodroller.php ?

I'd love to have a resource like this available to my players and have the history table to keep track of things for the STs.

Thanks for any help ya'll can provide.
